The academic advising team is your partner in navigating your program’s requirements, including the core curriculum, and understanding how these courses fit into your personal goals. They’ll work with you to plan your time at Babson, including elective courses and education abroad options, as well as introduce you to partner offices and campus resources that can further support your academic and professional success.
The advisors will work with you one on one, but you’ll benefit from a collaborative environment and supportive network where you may engage with faculty or other graduate school staff as you explore and refine your approach to meeting your goals.
More than half of Babson’s full-time graduate students are international. Babson’s International Students and Scholars Services (ISSS) office is available to help you untangle F-1 and J-1 visa requirements and regulations, as well as navigate academic, social, and cultural nuances. The ISSS also can help you understand options for CPT and OPT, including STEM-designated pathways toward U.S. employment.
At Babson, students with disabilities have full access to all programs, services, and benefits of the institution. Accessibility Services will work with the College to modify policies, practices, and procedures to provide reasonable accommodations and ensure you have everything you need to succeed.

Equally important is your safety. While Babson is an extremely safe campus for all, Public Safety works 24/7 to ensure the safety of the campus and the entire Babson community.
Horn Library offers access to hundreds of research databases, thousands of print and e-books, group study rooms, technology-enhanced classrooms, and state-of-the-art facilities at the Stephen D. Cutler Center for Investments and Finance. Socially, it offers some of the best spots on campus to connect with your classmates and build your network at the Babson Commons and Centennial Cafe.
Professor Kristen Getchell offers graduate students writing support by appointment with her or her writing support specialist, a staff member with a MA in Writing. Sessions are customized according to individual needs but cover topics such as discussion of main ideas, organization, tone, and grammar/punctuation. This support is available for coursework, individual professional blogs, as well as general questions about writing.
The Speech Center’s professional speech consultants help students take on public speaking, developing the confidence they need to become a skilled, persuasive speaker. Prepare for a class presentation, TedTalk, or business pitches with a one-on-one, 45-minute session, or 90-minute team session.
