Enrollment verification letters confirm that a student is or was enrolled at Babson and are often required for health insurance and loan deferment purposes. Degree verification letters confirm that a student graduated from Babson and are often used for visa and employment purposes.
Companies may obtain degree verifications through DegreeVerify.
Currently enrolled students may submit an enrollment verification request through the Babson Hub.
Enrollment and degree verification requests may be submitted via postal mail, fax, email, or in-person by completing the Enrollment and Degree Verification Request Form (pdf). Forms, such as health insurance or loan deferment forms, that need to be completed by the Registrar’s Office may be sent in place of the Enrollment and Degree Verification Form so long as it contains all necessary information. Please make sure any sections that need to be filled out by the student and/or parent or guardian are signed and completed.
Send the completed form, along with any required supplemental forms, to:
Fax: 781-239-5618
Email: registrar@babson.edu
Verification letters are printed on Babson College Registrar’s Office letterhead, signed by the College Registrar, and embossed with the Babson College seal (note: the seal does not appear on letters sent via email or fax).
Enrollment and degree verification requests are typically processed within three to five business days and on a first-come-first-served basis. Please plan accordingly.
For expedited shipping or courier delivery service, please specify this on your request form and follow these instructions. Express mail or courier service is at your expense and may expedite the shipping time, but will not expedite our processing time.
The Registrar's Office can only verify enrollment and degree information. The Registrar's Office can only verify enrollment for a semester in which the student is or was registered. The Registrar's Office cannot verify enrollment for semesters in which the student is not yet registered. Many student loan lenders will only defer student loans if the student is enrolled in at least six credits for the semester.
